Semiconductor giant Nvidia (NVDA) will continue sponsoring H-1B visas despite the Trump administration's recent crackdown on immigration, citing the critical role of overseas talent in U.S. tech innovation. CEO Jensen Huang emphasized in a company memo that Nvidia would cover all associated costs, framing the decision as a continuation of America's competitive edge in technology.
"The miracle of Nvidia WOULD not be possible without immigration," Huang stated, drawing from his own experience as an immigrant. The move comes after President Trump's executive order imposing a $100,000 fee per H-1B application, a policy that has sparked concern across the tech sector.
